More of UP 4014 in Minnesota

Here are a few images from the past three days.

1) UP 4014 Northbound at Farmington, MN - July 17, 2019

2) UP 4014 at Dayton's Bluff east of St Paul, MN as seen from Indian Mounds Park above. July 17, 2019

3) UP 4014 and train headed toward St Paul Union Depot.  It will turn on the wye ahead before parking at SPUD.  July 17, 2019

Poor thing.  She (he), is dragged around the system like tying King Kong up on a New York City stage to gawk at.  In his own world he was King...now BB is just an amusement to take pictures of.         (Now I am sure the pea brains will all rip into me for those insensitive comments.)

Yet, you wasted all that money to travel way out west in May, to do the same thing????????????

Thanks for posting these. I really like the overview photo. Glad the UP is showing 4014 off. They are showing a welcome level of commitment to the steam program.

I'm impressed by all of this, and I was a big doubter in the beginning.  The crowds obviously love it.  Gotta give full credit to the UP.

If you look at the greyhaired demographics of T.O., the Big Boy is making a huge increase of younger people with an interest in our favorite subject- and that is very good and very important for the future.
