First is a view from the cab of GP30 501, 5/2015  (this was supposed to be a steam-hauled trip)
Second is a short vid of something that happened hundreds of times at Frostburg since 1993 with #734. Note the number of people, the vibe from the musician, hard to believe that this was almost 4 years ago (10-23-2015)
WMSR has an overall attendance problem, and its not just steam related.
I maintain that for the amount of money (and time) that has been sunk into 1309, 734 could have been completely rebuilt, and somewhere WMSR  find a A-B-A set of F-units, paint them WM and they would be heroes. The first F they could get is rescue the WM 236 from the B&O museum.

Mostly old news being recycled. Its ready for the drivers, but the pending lift you are talking about was rescheduled because of the crane being unavailable. The lift is being donated by the crane company. The crane company had a last minute schedule change.
