With the wye and turntable allowing the engines to run forward in both directions, and having the 100-mile round trip to Summerville available (with another turntable), TVRM could be thought of as the foremost standard-gauge tourist steam operation in the U.S.

Here is another...although it is "only" 34 years apart.  Obviously one of the locomotives is different as the 1984 & 85 doubleheaders consisted of Southern #630 & 722, while the 2019 photos (from 9/7/19) included #630 & 4501.

A great place for steam railfans.  Sure glad I got to visit many years ago.
