844 in Yermo at Sunrise, 2011

Just about a week away from a much larger locomotive quietly simmering at sunrise in probably almost the same spot. Back on November 20th, 2011, 844 awaited departure east to Las Vegas. This morning was blessed with beautiful clouds, and I hope similar conditions in the coming chase days.

Your first photo with the slight time exposure is really great modestly blurring the exhausts from the dynamo and air pumps.
