For those chasing 4014 East on the Sunset Route tomorrow, be aware that there is one-way controlled traffic with flag men where San Timoteo Rd crosses the railroad a couple miles west of Beaumont (near the Hinda x-overs), at the east end of the canyon. Use caution when approaching the site. Be safe out there!

I live a few miles from this mess and there are usually 2 sets of Flagmen , and the traffic backs up quickly .
Best idea, find One place for photo's and try to get ahead of the 4014 when it stops at Highlind Springs exit ( APEX ) on the RR before he heads down grade , and the last I heard there's Road work on Hwy 111 down by Niland .
