In 1991 a few of us (some TO members) got together and rebuilt Imperial Irrigation District 151 to take to Railfair 1991.  They wanted it more for the Central Pacific built slope back tender.  So, for a small amount of money and a lot of donated equipment and time from local companies in El Centro, it was done and off we went. Here is a shot of my then 5yo daughter trying to blow the whistle, just a bit light to open the valve. Fast forward to last sunday and now 34, she sent me this shot of 4014 at mormon Rocks in Cajon Pass.

It was fun in 1991 to interact with your group as your locomotive was featured at the Railfair. 
As I recall a lot of banter was had between all the locomotive crews at Railfair that year and a good time was had by all.

It was a lot of fun. The gret smoke out, whistle off and having Copy19 bring the whistles out of the display car for us to blow. A few were half the size of the boiler lol. Best part was all the crews coming together. Oh, that and lunch on the last business car with John on the way to Portola. We couldn't have don't it without people like Engine3420  to get the project started. There were only a handful of people that made it happen.
