Steam & Excursion > 8444 FreightDate: 06/26/20 04:49 8444 Freight Author: Bob3985 Here is a photo that I took in my early days on the crew when all we had was the tool car and so we would grab a block of freight cars for braking.
In this photo we are eastbound at the east end of Sidney, NE with a freight heading to North Platte and on to Omaha. In the background you see the BN overpass on their line from Denver to Alliance, NE. I will have to research the date. There should be someone here on TO who have analyzed his behavior the past decade. Besides, there are people who have worked with him who probably have the real answer.
