My mom worked Sundays at the Saugus Swap Meet, NW of Los Angeles.  She told me there was an airbrush t-shirt artist called "Skip" who said he had worked for Disney. She expected he could do a 4449 shirt "not technically exact, but in the spirit of the real thing."
I found it the other day, fortunately near the bottom of a stack of not-unique RR t-shirts (those took the brunt of an odd brown speckling in that corner of the closet.)
I won't be insulted if someone uses the word "Toonerville" in comments...
The photo I provided was from the Amtrak Transcontinental Steam Excursion and I remember saying "Don't show that black [borrowed Union Pacific] tender" but it seems he was influenced by its shape to some extent.
