There are 5 steam locomotives at each park, Disneyland and Disney World Magic Kingdom.
Mike ONeill Parker, CO Date: 08/21/20 17:39 Re: Something New and Different at Strasburg Railroad Author: FloridaTrainGuy The Disney World Railroad is closed right now due to construction of the new TRON ride. One of the engines was on display at the Storybrook Circus station but was not there yesterday. I guess it's the perfect time to do major maintenance on the engines.

Are you saying that NONE of the Disney locomotives are standard gauge, i.e. the same as what Strasburg Rail Road is? Date: 08/21/20 20:45 Re: Something New and Different at Strasburg Railroad Author: FloridaTrainGuy They are all Mexican 3 foot gauge locomotives. That one is the "Walter E. Disney" named after the man himself.

You’re as sharp as a cue tip, what did they feed you at EMD all those years? Unless Walt returned from the grave and magically regauged all of Disney’s equipment, there is no “same as Strasburg Rail Road” gauged equipment operating on Disney property.
