Steam & Excursion > Back Carroll Park & Western 0-4-0 No. 17

Sitting on static display along the Pine Creek Railroad at Allaire State Park in Farmingdale, NJ.  Hasn't run in a loooong time but apparently this locomotive makes an appearance in the 1970 film The Molly Maguires.  I rode the loop behind ex-US Army diesel switcher 7751, and it's good to see it still going but they haven't had operational steam here since New Year's day 2002.  So, I'm not holding my breath, but there is a narrow gauge Shay and some other interesting narrow gauge steam power sitting in the train shed.
