Double headed 2-8-4's PM 1225 and NKP 765.

1. US_Lucas_MI_2009-10-03_17@28_1603_PM_1225_NKP_765 This double header ran from Alma to Cadillac and return. The photo stop was made at Lucas, MI, and this seems to be the second run-pass. For a short while both locos snorted out a load of exhaust/smoke as they came at us :-)

That's where ballast comes in handy.  They will move after a couple of hits.
