Steam & Excursion > 2020 Season over for C&TS DRGW 05635 Caboose

Congratulations to the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic RR for running their trains from Antonito, Colorado, and a month out of Chama, New Mexico, considering the COViD-19 pandemic restrictions.  Caboose 05635 lettered Denver & Rio Grande Western RR I thought was a fitting farewell to this epic narrow gauge operation for 2020.  Los Pinos water tank in Colorado descending Cumbres Pass 11 October 2020.  Mixed train operated for the fireman & engineer school.

Note stone foundation to the right of the water tank was a section house long gone.  Image 2 closer look at Denver & Rio Grande built section house foundation.
