Steam & Excursion > 09/25/2016 - NKP 767Date: 10/20/20 22:52 09/25/2016 - NKP 767 Author: refarkas NKP 767 (NKP 765 renumbered for railfans) is southbound over the abandoned Ohio and Erie Canal. She is on the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad in Akron, Ohio on September 25, 2016. NKP 767 is there for the CVSR's "Steam In The Valley 2016.

The city requested the 767 and that is why a NKP locomotive landed in Lawton Park- leaving the possibility of future resurrection. A second nod to the original 767 is ongoing: the 765's auxiliary tender is now known as "RPCX 767".
