Steam & Excursion > Santa's Enginehouse rescheduled - ORHC

With Multnomah County, Oregon going into a 4-week lockdown beginning 11/18, the Oregon Rail Heritage Center in Portland has rescheduled Santa's Enginehouse to December 18-23 & January 1-3.  ORHC will be closed until these ticketed event dates.    Yes, our damn virus numbers are on the rise and most of us old folk are worried.   The lockdown is currently scheuled to be lifted 12/16.  

We remain supportive as this season nears.
We wear our sanitation masks out of respect for others, 

The city of Portland has been a leader, over the decades, of civic
responsibility and civic pride.  

Your residents have been through a LOT this year, yet the nation looks
to Portland for a guiding light   ('Light !! --- no pun intended).
As a nation, we stand with you and hold you in our prayers.

Soon, 4449 may be back in red, white and blue, we sincerely hope.

I'm 80 now, but the future looks very bright.
Keep the faith, Portland, we need you.
(Keep pushing Doyle to get that TT ready! )

appreciate the thoughts Wes.....our battle is on two fronts per this thread....the damn virus and raising $$$ to put the turntable in....this docent misses people.    Arlen

I will be contributing a C-note to the Turntable Install project.
Maybe others will join-in over the next month, or $o.

i'm asking all my followers to kick-in whatever they'd  like ...to get this DONE..
