Years ago: How did you guys ever get that stuck wash-out plug out of the CP 2860’s throat sheet?
( make that : CP 2839; w.1116hrs)

It looked like it fought youse all the way!

I had looked at the engine while
it was undergoing restoration near Allentown, PA.

Last saw it under steam, while I was MM at PY, when it was headed for the Southern and Jim Bistline’s.

While composing I drew a blank
On the number... went with a stab at it...

Have since found the proper reference ... should be 2839.
