Steam & Excursion > ORHC Santa's Enginehouse - CANCELEDDate: 12/04/20 20:30 ORHC Santa's Enginehouse - CANCELED Author: asheldrake With the cases of COVID-19 infections continuing to rise in Multnomah County and no end in sight, the Oregon Rail Heritage Foundation Events Committee decided today to cancel this years Santa's Enginehouse here in Portland. Holiday displays like this pictued one will be retained for visitor enjoyment hopefully early in 2021. Hoping 2021 brings a needle stick or two. Arlen

My daughter has ridden Holiday Express to kick off the season every year and we were looking forward to including 4449 at least some way. I just made an on-line donation ( $100) keep Doyle at work in the turntable project... If we don't keep him busy, he'll get fat and lazy --- drinking too much Pepsi.. Join me, in supporting ORHF, as we keep Doyle at work ... Laurie wants him out da house! Wes ( if a few more all pitched-in, we could spin the 4449 this Spring on the Reconditioned Brooklyn Turntable... & keep it spinning for the NEXT 100 years.. Put a smile on Doyle's face, make Laurie happy, and keep Arlen passing the ties to Doyle..
