Steam & Excursion > Santa Steam in FloridaDate: 12/14/20 07:26 Santa Steam in Florida Author: RWS4449 On Saturday, December 12th, 2020 the U.S. Sugar Company operated the Sugar Express Santa Train on the South Central Florida Express Railroad to distribute toys to needy children in the central Florida farming communities around Lake Okechobee.
The train was powered by recently restored EX Florida East Coast Railway 4-6-2 steam locomotive # 148 with PV Office car Georgia bringing up the markers. The train made stops at Moore Haven, Clewiston, Belle Glade and Port Mayaca, Florida.
