Potomac Eagle Railway (photos)

Follow the link below to some scenes at the Potomac Eagle Railway based out of Romney, WV on May 3rd of this year.

B&O F-7A #722 was built in 1952 for the Bessemer & Lake Erie, hauling iron ore pellets from the ore docks to the steel mills in Pittsburgh. Potomac Eagle FP-9A #1755 was built in 1957 for the Canadian National Railway, and later owned by the Algoma Central. The trackage is part of the South Branch Valley Railroad, formally part of the Baltimore & Ohio system.

Enjoy,
Matthew

The B&O 722 sure looks good.  Almost wish they would paint the other F to match.

Almost?  I'd love to see that, but even more so, the
passenger cars.

Sad the C&O F unit is no longer there...

Nice set, Matthew - wish I could've made it out.  Love the 4th and 5th with the
B&O F and passenger train - has a look of authenticity.  The blur shot(s) are cool,
too!
