Ancestry of 4014 Route Ft. Worth-Houston

It looks to me like the route that the Big Boy used from Forth Worth to Houston used lines of various lineage.  Looking for info.  Thanks for any assistance.

The route of UP 4014 from Ft. Worth to Houston was via the SP .

Southern Pacific or Houston & Texas Central all the way from Ft. Worth to Hearne TX.
South of Hearne, I believe the train used a former Missouri Pacific (or I&GN) line.

At Hearne they tunred and went down the SP Dalsa line to Mumford where it took the Mopac Route into Bryan College Station. The MP and the SP shared the line from College Station to Navasota. At Navasota the Big Boy took the SP line down to Hearne and into Houston.

Navasota to Houston via "Hempstead".
