You're putting magnets on your drones to pick up cars?

The US Air Force knows the C&TSRR.  In early September while chugging along the side of the hill looked out and there was a C-130 going by about eye level... Must be a mountain training route through there.

The valley is where the air force does low flight training. I have shot a 130 looking dow cuz it was flying below me.

Yes, the C-130 folks out of C Springs (731st Airlift Squadron, AFRC) do have a few low level training routes in the area.

Sorry don't have any. Most of the time when we see them I am flying and I get my drone out of the way.

Stay below 200 feet AGL and you should have no problems. They're usually doing 250 knots at 250 feet.

You are right on flat ground but I hae been on the mesa above Toltec Gourge and they are below me. I could of been flying at 25 feet and been way aabove them. Same problem at Hamilton Point just above Cresco we are way above them and the track.

Roger, don't get your drone in those props.... or the they might come looking for you... <G> I'm old enough to remember dad parachuting out of old C-47s at Fort Bragg in the 1960s. I wish I'd photographed them. To me, those were flying "covered wagons". They must have been fun to fly.

Last time I was there for a charter, we got buzzed by an aircraft. I don't think this was a drone, though.

If it is a drone it looks like a mighty big one.
