Steam & Excursion > Steamy SSW Signal Sunday in Big Sandy

I'm standing on Cotton street watching Cotton Belt 819 in the late afternoon approaching the UP, former T&P, crossing at Big Sandy, Texas on October 18, 1991. While researching this scene I find many things have changed. The signal is gone and there is now a grade crossing where the second car is. And yes I know, 819 is no longer running here either, I miss seeing that locomotive with it's full length matching train doing track speed on it's home territory, I can still feel the ground tremble at it's passing.
