You don't see too many photos of T&P steam in New Orleans, much less at the old
Annunciation St. depot (pre-NOUPT). Here's Pacific #719 ready to depart soon with the 
Louisiana Daylight in 1951.

Sister locomotive #700 survived as Louisiana Eastern #5 in the Paulsen Spence collection until the
early 1960s and then was scrapped by his heirs.  A shame!

Here are more looks at 719 without the eagle paint scheme.  Taking water behind the engine shed in Mineola Tx, , in Texarkana, and finally highballing near Odessa Tx.

By the way.  Check out the tenders beind the engine.   3 different ones.  As a engine was retired on the T&P if it had a larger tender than a engine in service, the swap was made and that included pacifics, and 2-8-2's.
