Lance's post on the Western Board jarred ancient memories of a similar hotel in Lincoln, Nebraska.  Not only could you get a room with a view but at no extra cost you get smoked glass windows.  That Steamboat Whistle was sure to give you sweet dreams!  UP 844 - October 20, 1991.

Cool!! All you would need is a little patio area on the trackside of the building. Of course, all of the regular motel patrons will looking at you sorta funny... ;^)
