A nice photo of one of the Milwaukee Roads Hybrids.  Built by Baldwin, it got a leaky boiler late in it's life.  Baldwin had quit building steam locomotives but the Milwaukee still needed the Loco.  So , they went to Alco and got a new welded replacement.  Several of these S-2 class got the treatment and is is evidenced by the closeness of the sand dome and the steam dome compared to the originals wider spacing.  Thanks for posting the photo.
