N&W #475 smokes it up at Strasburg

Along with #611, N&W 4-8-0 #475 ran trips on Sunday, 5/21/2023.
The 11:00 train covered everyone with cinders while waiting at Cherry Hill Rd. for the first 611 trip.

The smoke show continued as #475 pulled away from the meet with 611's train and got into the westbound grade up to Esbenshade Rd.

On a later trip, 475 had a much clearer stack at Esbenshade Rd.

After 611 went back to Strasburg after running its 3 scheduled roundtrips, stuck around at Cherry Hill Rd.for 475 pulling up to Groff's Grove, picking up passengers, and then accelerating up the hill westbound.
By now 80% of the railfan horde had left...
