There's been some 2816 posts on CPKC's Facebook for a while now. They've been working on 2816 for a while now too. If the railroad posted it, safe bet it’s true. Posted from iPhone Date: 06/01/23 11:20 Re: CP 2816 on tour Author: HotWater PHall Wrote:

They have been VERY busy on 2816, even up-grading the driver axle bearings to pressure feed oil lubrication on babbitted crown bearings (all per SP drawings, just like the GS-4 and AC-12 class locomotives). Curious if Bill Stettler is involved this time around also? Cheers, Dave Date: 06/01/23 13:20 Re: CP 2816 on tour Author: HotWater Hillcrest Wrote:

I wouldn’t be so quick to dismiss Mr. Stetler from being apart of this project in its current state or during the tour over the summer. Speaking as one who saw his regular assignment vacant from the Oceanside Extraboard for Metrolink a few weeks ago. And before it’s asked…no he wasn’t on vacation either…nor was he in his annual rules training. Posted from iPhone |
