No Waving - DSNG 476 K-28

Someone's sense of humor, No waving sign on property north of Durango, Colorado. Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, 476, K 28, returned light to town 1 June 2023.

Is that a private home with the "No Waving" sign?  I guess they just got tired of feeling obliged to wave back every time a train went by.

Fun pic.Is there also a sign that states an older man lives there and you should stay off the lawn?  Hopefully there isn't an issue with a child or adult who is scared of the train or the passengers.Thanks for posting.

I wonder if waving at the engine crew causes them to whistle in responce and irrates the neighbor?

When I saw that sign it made me laugh.  I  think it was put up as a good natured way to kid the
tourists.
