Steam & Excursion > UP 4014 Turned 5 June for Omaha Trip

Union Pacific 4014 Big Boy moved out of Cheyenne, Wyoming, west to Borie then backed to Speer onto the Greeley Subdivision and returned to Cheyenne, Wyoming, in preparation for trip departing 7 June 2023 to Omaha, Nebraska.

They needed to turn the whole consist, in order to head east.

Video keeps freezing for a few seconds, jumps ahead, plays for a few seconds, jumps, etc.
Other TO videos play normally on my device.
Is it Ultra HD maybe?

It might be? I will say watching this and other steam in 4k is incredible on how much little detail is brought out!! Quite the upgrade from the old prntrex vhs days.

Nice— played fine on my iPhone!

If the additonal water tenders were also painted black to match the engine and its tender, that would look more appropriate.

That is your opinion. Personally, I prefer them yellow, which matches the entire train and diesel unit/units.

I agree with Jack. The water canteens are part of the train not part of the engine.

Easy fix, just paint one side black, keep yellow other side, then those who wish can choose which side of the tracks to be on when 4014 rolls on by 😀
