Everett Railroad (PA) 2-6-0

The Everett Railroad ran a steam hauled train today.  Their 2-6-0 with 4 passenger cars in tow left Hollidaysburg, PA at Noon and ran to Martinsburg Junction before returning to Hollidaysburg. 
1. Hollidaysburg station
2. Loop Rd grade crossing
3. black and white at Monastery Rd.

Thanks for posting the photos. The #11 is very special to me and shots show just how photogenic that engine is. Well done.

Nice series - thanks for sharing!

Number 7 looks like a pan shot, though at 1/250th, lol.
I like the last shot - can't recall seening that view point
before - very nice!

Not really a pan shot.  More of a grab shot as we caught up to the train and I jumped out of the car and fired away before the train was blocked by some trees.  I was afraid that the tall corn on nearby farms would be right up to the tracks but the area was rather open near the wye at Martinsburg Junction.  The engine was built by Cooke in the 1920s, was destined for sugar operations in Cuba but was never sent there.  It was sold to the Naragansett Pier RR in Rhode Island and then to the Bath and Hammondsport in New York before being acquired by Everett.

She is a well proportioned and attractive little engine.
