ATSF 4-8-4 2926, under her own power, will actually be getting out on the main later this month.
Engine will be making a 2 mile trip for a railroad event being held September 30 and October 1 a little south of the Albuquerque Amtrak station.  For those familiar with AQ, will be about halfway between the Coal Avenue overpass and the old AQ shops.
BNSF is supposed to be sending a unit and Amtrak is sending their Operation Lifesaver unit for the event.
There is a night photo shoot planned for September 30, tickets are $200.

Forgot to mention, 2926 support car, former ATSF baggage 3939, will be going along which means this trip is almost a train!

I know they will video the event,  but I just wondered if there will live, real time video?

No idea about that!

Ugh, too much of a trek for me at the moment from LA. I wish I could go especially for the night shoot!
