Hi all,

This year locomotive #93 will be our primary engine for the Winter Steam Spectacular photo freights and the Winter Photo Workshop at the Nevada Northern Railway.  With trackage restored to the White Pine Public Museum, we also have a new location available in the form of the Cherrry Creek Depot.

The dates are a little later than in previous years so there is still time to plan and book.

Winter Steam Spectacular Weekend #1 is February 16-18 (President's Day Weekend)
The Winter Photo Workshop is on February 22-25th.
Winter Steam Spectacular Weekend #2 is March 1-3.

The winter photo workshop his is a smaller, more hands on experience limited to 15 persons.  It features instruction in strobe photography and composition / lighting, and the opportunity to capture some more intimate scenes not possible with a larger group.

If you have never been to this event I have one word for you: GO!!

I went last year, and it was absolutely outstanding. You have complete and easy access all over the property, the operations and locomotives are all first-rate, the runbys and night photo session are well staged and well managed, the crews are friendly, professional and accommodating. And it is the real deal in every respect, like almost nowhere else on the planet. Lots of fun sharing it all with others, too - the excitement and enjoyment is contagious. You'd swear that you got caught in a time warp, or found the time machine - and waddya know....it works. Who knows, maybe you did! Whether you do this as a bucket list trip, or just for fun, or whatever, you will be so, so, so glad that you did. If you go, hope you will have an outstanding time. Hard to imagine that you won't.
