CVL 4070 - North of Independence

The Cuyahoga Valley Line 4070 and her train are southbound nearing the old boarding site in Independence, Ohio in September 1984. She has just passed under the Conrail bridge.

 Here is a link to the 4070 restoration progress update video from two months ago. You may have to copy and paste this link to get it to work. Lincoln Electric (headquarted in Cleveland)  will be providing guidance on the frame welding project. Saturday, 2/10/24, Volunteers were using a small excavator to dig out an area of the drop pit which had been filled by C&O/B/&O many years ago. That area will be needed when the pony truck is removed for access to the frame during welding.
