This photo was taken in May 2009 at Golden Gardens and Spokane, WA. Were any of you there? Wonderful locomotives.

VERY nice! Yes, I was there as part of the UP Steam Crew. Steve requested me, well prior to the approval of 4449 attendance.

Yep, that's a Hiawatha emblem.  Not graffiti to me.  The Daylights and especially the F-7 4-6-4 Hiawathas were both beautiful locomotives in form and function.   I was lucky enough to have visited the cabs of both.

There is typically a good one up of each other between groups, when fellas get together.  Its a contest of who has the better creative humor.  There is no getting even - only escalation.
