 Pennsylvania regional railroad Reading & Northern is planning excursions this year from its Outer Station in Reading.
Destinations from Reading will include Pottsville, Tamaqua, and Minersville.
Pottsville excursions are set for April 13, May 11, June 8, Aug. 17, and Sept. 14. Those trips will offer more than five hours in Pottsville, with opportunities to tour the Yuengling Brewery, the Jerry’s Classic Cars & Collectibles Museum, or the Schuylkill County Historical Society Museum.
A May 18 excursion to Minersville will feature Central Railroad of New Jersey 0-6-0 No. 113. Trips to Tamaqua will run on June 16, and Aug. 24. from the akronrrblog
