Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad (D&RGW) sold 340 in 1952 to the Knott's Berry Farm amusement park in Buena Park, CA

If anything like the 41, it will be a complete frame off restoration. I've seen photos of the 41's separated boiler floating outside the Durango roundhouse during it's time here. Big Diehl had a good few videos on the tube of 41 during the shake down runs before returning to Knotts. |
