But- nothing about Willie James. The old Pullman porters, waiters, chefs etc were legendary men. The real "Old Porters." He was very surprised!!
He cooked for the crews on the steam trains (1980-90s) & business car trains. Bet he cooked a million meals over this time on the car. Walter Dean was the attendent for Drew Lewis (days when he was CEO). Drew honored him by naming the car. Walter always had Drew's drinks ready for him, |
