Steam & Excursion > Nobody went to Albuquerque??Date: 09/28/24 21:27 Nobody went to Albuquerque?? Author: SD45X 2926 went to the shops this weekend. Couple car groups wanted pictures. Only the Jeep stayed tonight. But last night the Model A club had a ball.
And sunrise this morning. Tomorrow she will return to the barn down the main line in the afternoon. Date: 09/29/24 01:14 Re: Nobody went to Albuquerque?? Author: oyw Perfection!
Date: 09/29/24 04:11 Re: Nobody went to Albuquerque?? Author: UP951West Really like your roster shot of 2926 in the low light which shows the roller bearing rods nicely. Thanks for sharing these 2926 images , SD45X .

Date: 09/29/24 06:27 Re: Nobody went to Albuquerque?? Author: jkh2cpu That third shot is excellent... It makes me think that 2626 should be protection power for Amtrak ;-)

Amtrak shows up to Albuquerque with a broken locomotive and needs help. 2626 happens to be fired up, fully fueled, with an extra water tender and there happens to be 20 water trucks next to the station all filled up with water that are about to leave to Los Angeles for a construction project. They all leave together towards Los Angeles at the same time. Crazy dream, I know. Todd Clark Canyon Country, CA Trainorders.com Date: 09/29/24 10:18 Re: Nobody went to Albuquerque?? For those visiting Albuquerque, what part of town would you stay in that would be relatively safer than others? Not to throw any shade on our New Mexico friends, but its no secret that the crime rate is elevated in much of that state. Date: 09/29/24 15:37 Re: Nobody went to Albuquerque?? Author: superfleet Great shots; did they get their ATSF baggage car (I forgot the number) fully restored now?

If there's a particular part of town with a heavier concentration of check cashing places, that's not where you wanna stay. Posted from Android Date: 09/30/24 04:35 Re: Nobody went to Albuquerque?? What museum? 2926 is not at/in a museum, restoration site on 8th Street is open to visitors every Wednesday and Saturday 9-2 unless there is a weather issue.
