It was interesting to open the firebox doors and see how truly big that firebox is. It's a good bit bigger than the fireboxes I encountered on the SOU 4501 and 630.

While I was there the sky turned very dark and the tornado sirens went off. I got up in 4006's cab and was ready to cllimb into the firebox if it got to that point. I can't imagine a tornado doing anything to that beast.
