What a horrible way to go.  Probably didn't know what hit her.

Shades of "Indiana Jones"  ..... this is an accident more frequent than one would suppose.
A pilot friend of mine had this happen on a rural air strip.  Talk about PTSD,   he still tells
the story on occasion.

Tail rotors on helicopters can be just as deadly. 

Disaster....

They, the US Navy, really stressed this type of incident, was one of the many ways one could perish on the Flight Deck of carriers. Lots of turning pieces of metal that could get ya. Recall at least 2 that happened while I was one or two cruises. Not pretty. Ben

I can imagine, especially after seeing how fast you guys got those jets ready for takeoff, gotta stay on top of it if not trouble!
