Office "caboose" placed
Author: asheldrake

sorry for the upside down..........this week the former P&W/ W&P converted from a caboose to an office car was placed on a short section of track on the east side of the ORHC building.  The plan is to use this space for the now three employees offices.    Arlen

Gads! That paint scheme is horrendous.

However, I always like seeing cabooses get new life.

Thanks for the photo.  Can I get the cupola office-?  Way to go, Arlen.  Appreciate your photo reports from Portland, Oregon (ORHC).

I'm guessing those aren't the original trucks. Good use for the car.

Yeah but what's up with the plywood "window shade"?  Looks like it has suffered some abuse.

The OHRC looks like such a neat place and their accomplishments are impressive.  I hope they have good fences, security systems and maybe a some hungry dogs to protect their facility and collection from the local miscreants.

Actually to me the plywood looks like it's covering a window that was removed so they could move something too big to fit through the end doors in or out.
I would buy the vandalism thing if there was other damage but there isn't any that you can see in this picture.
