If I remember correctly, CSX actually did give their support there. Unfortunately, the plans fell apart after the roundhouse roof collapse at the B&O Museum.

I was excited about that event at the time. Multiple steam locomotives were planing to be at the event including 765 if I remember correctly. Interesting to note that it was also due to attend the 1994 opening of Steamtown but it was determined at the 11th-hour that the engine would not have fit through the Detroit River Tunnel.
