Steam & Excursion > 2102 excursion early 1970s on Reading mainline

We are going back over 50 years.  There was a 2102 excursion that ran from Elizabeth over CNJ to Bound Brook Jct. and then south on Reading to Philadelphia and then on B&O to Baltimore and DC.  After first run by, rear coach had to be removed.  There was much delay and trip organizers arranged taxi from Bayview Yard to Baltimore station so we could get the last Metroliner north back to NJ.
