I doubt we'll have a comparable year in steam in '25.

I know what you mean. I'm curious what, if any, future plans CPKC has for steam. Hate to be the pessimist, but they may just up and end it, saying "We accomplished our three-country tour last year like we promised, and that's that."

I, of course, hope they DO plan to keep 2816 up and running. If so, I'd advocate sending it to places it didn't reach last year like British Columbia or the eastern part of the system.

Just after.  The train is running restricted speed, about to pass the first signal after the stop.

We were on a private drive where the owner not only gave permission, but came out to enjoy the show.
