I thought I would share this one, New Orleans, Mobile & Chicago #42, a nice looking Pacific. Panama Route The NOM&C was a predecessor to the Gulf, Mobile & Northern and GM&O. NOM&C 42 was built by Baldwin Oct. 1912. 22x28 cylinders, 69" drivers, Total Engine Weight 187,300 lbs. Sold by the GM&N to the L&N in 1921 becoming L&N #299. Retired October 1950 Edited 1 time(s).
