Is the time or will the time of NKP 765's ferry move to the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad be posted on line? As I don't do Facebook, I was just wondering.

Norfolk Southern does not want such moves publicized.

Hot Water is correct. NS has asked that movement info stay confidential and only shared with those that need to know.  We steam fans need to do all possible to respect the Class 1's wishes as without their continued cooperation mainline steam will disappear.  Ross Rowland

It’s less that it’s a closely guarded secret and more that there is rarely a promised schedule, date, or time. The window for the move has been changing for the last several weeks and is entirely reliant on crew and motive power availability.

To be sure, when it moves, the information will get around quickly.

That's a change from the past few times. Nice to hear Wheeling is allowing this again.

I'll second that. Always glad to see another railroad opening its doors to steam... or reopening them, in this case.

In the old days, this was good PR.

Yes but,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,in the "old days" there wasn't hundreds of people standing way too close to the track, plus trying to take "selfies"!
