Appears to be official now...Associated Press report ran in Reno newspapers yesterday announcing that the V&T Restoration Committee purchased McCloud #18 for $420,000.

Story ran in Reno Gazette Journal as well as some other newspapers from around Western Nevada.

Newspaper article indicates that the #18 will be stored in McCloud until they have some tracks to run it on.
