It absolutely takes your breath away, especially when you have no idea of what you are about to see.
IF Rocky Mountaineer Railtours ever begins operations through here, one can only hope that they move slowly. Ran real late , account of a coach derailing in Chilliwack ( about 60 Miles
East of Vancouver or about 30 Miles Weat of Hope). Then as memory serves me right, they had a small derailment in jasper. I think the intention was to run the 6060/2860 to Prince George, but the 2860 ran alone, where it picked up the 3715 (x- CPR 2-8-0) for the trip South to North Vancouver.Anyway there were plans for a repeat the following year or so, but I guess CNR didn't want a repeat performance.
