The w/b MMID UBHF led by GP38AC #302, built 10//67 as B&O #3816, to MMID #302, rebuilt to GP38-3 #302, later CORP #2062, + GP38DC #301, built 12//67 as C&O #3892, to MMID #301, rebuilt to GP38-3 #302, to MMID #2061, + HATX GP40 #521, built 7//71 as C&O #4075, to CSXT #6830, to HATX #521, to HLCX #4205, to OMLX #4205, tied down the rear half of its train on the Main and took empty aggregates hoppers to the Barrick quarry on the ex-York, Hanover & Frederick (PRR).

North of Woodsboro, Maryland
6. The s/b UBHF was about to cross Legore Bridge Road and enter the quarry.
7. The n/b UBHF power was about to exit the quarry.
South of Keymar, Maryland
8. The n/b UBHF power crossed the Little Pipe Creek bridge.

10. UBHF switched a customer and
11. departed for the CSXT interchange in Highfield, Maryland.

Nice set, taken 6 months before I would land in Thurmont, and become very familiar with the MMID.
The embankment along Woodside Ave. has become completely covered in shrubs/small trees since these 2009 pics were taken of a Westbound UBHF with 4 GP's.
