As you pruse your slides or prints looking for stuff to scan, please keep a eye out for those Fallen Flag freightcars. I just wanted to make everyone aware that there is a demand for hi-res scans of Fallen Flag Freightcars for using in making virtual models. The photo needs to be well lit and clear, and with only minimal shadows covering the side of the car. Also we need side-on shots, wedge shots are almost no good to us virtual modelers. I'm currently in search of shortline and private owner cars from the western US. I'm in particular need of the USLX Lumber company plywood cars. Virtual models of this sort are very popular and will probably be in use for years to come.
