Author: ble692 Agree that is on the SP at Stockton (headed railroad eastbound, geographically northbound). They probably just took a cut of cars over to the SP yard and are heading back to Mormon Yard. In the background on the right appears to be the WP/UP Stockton yard office. The date doesn't seem to be correct though. The unit pictured (GP35 3449) was rebuilt to the 2949 in October 1984, so is has to be before that date.
